Things are coming to a head now. Tonights Central Leader quotes Onehunga Enhancement Society Chairman Jim Jackson saying "the community over the years has has been brow beaten and downtrodden, but there's a culture coming through now that says we are not going to put up with it".
In the same article the city development committee chairman Pesata Sam Lotu-Iiga says "I think it's come to a head now and we need to put pressure on ARC and NZTA for an optimal outcome for the area. Council needs to act now."
Sounds like we're singing from the same song sheet.
For those who can make it we look forward to your support at the Council meeting tomorrow morning. It will help make a difference.
